Beet

Terms of Use

Last updated: October 31, 2026

These terms apply to the Beet app published by Olli Labs ("we"). By downloading or using Beet you agree to them. Because Beet is distributed through the App Store, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies and prevails where the two conflict.

The service

Beet reads ingredient lists from photos and gives a score, a verdict and an ingredient breakdown based on the goals and allergens you choose. The reading is done by an AI model; see the Privacy Policy for what is sent and where.

Results are not medical advice

Scores and ingredient notes are general information generated by AI. They can be wrong or incomplete, for example when a photo is unclear or a label is damaged. Beet is not medical or nutritional advice and does not diagnose or treat any condition. If you have a food allergy or a medical diet, always read the packaging yourself and ask a professional when it matters.

Subscriptions and purchases

Acceptable use

Use Beet lawfully and for your own decisions. Do not reverse-engineer the service, use it to build a competing database, or send automated requests to our servers.

Intellectual property

The Beet app, its design and its brand belong to Olli Labs. You may use and share your own scan results.

Availability

We may change, suspend or end parts of the service, including the AI model we use. If we end Beet, active subscriptions are handled under Apple's policies.

Limitation of liability

Beet is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages from using the app, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Beet in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

Changes

We may update these terms; the current version is published on this page with its date. You can stop using Beet at any time.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
